The Convia Wand
Convia eliminates labor intensive hard-wiring between lights and switches and allows for the virtual wiring of a space. The two-button, wireless Convia Wand lets users create associations between lights, switches, and sensors simply by linking or unlinking components with the touch of a button. The result is on-demand wiring of a building’s entire lighting system.
When spaces need to change, rather than tearing out existing wiring and needlessly filling dumpsters, the Convia wand can be used to reconfigure the space within moments. With the Wand, any light or zone of lights can be programmed to respond to any switch, sensor, or scene controller on the system.

How to Make Associations With The Convia Wand
Programming switches and devices to communicate with one another is easy with the Convia Wand.
To make associations, aim the Wand at a switch and touch the Link button. The infrared light on the switch will light up indicating it is ready to be programmed. Now aim the wand at any lighting zone you want to have respond to that switch and touch the LINK button again. The infrared light near the lighting zone will also light up indicating it is now associated with the switch. When you are finished adding lighting zones, aim the wand at the switch again and press the link button one last time. Programming is now complete.
Simply repeat the process using the UNLINK button to disassociate components.
