Traditional vs. Convia

Traditional Electrical versus Convia

Traditional systems require separate control elements to be installed after the electrical infrastructure is hardwired.

Convia provides fully integrated system control with the installation of its electrical infrastructure. So no additional installs are required.

Levels of Control

Convia Global Gateway

Local Control

Through the use of a two-button, wireless Wand, any light can be controlled individually or in a group based on your specialized needs. Just aim the Wand at one light, and then another, and the association is made instantly. The result is on-demand, virtual rewiring of a building’s entire lighting system.

Convia Web Portal Control

Convia goes even further to create smarter and more efficient buildings by offering users the ability to control and program their Convia Infrastructure, along with all of their other building subsystems, using the Convia Global Gateway. The Global Gateway allows all of a building's subsystems to "talk" and "react" to one another.

Types of Lighting Control

Scene Controller

Associations can be made between any zones on the system and then stored in the Scene Controller. Just point and click the Wand at the Scene Controller to store scenes. The scene settings become accessible at the push of a button.

Sensor Control

Convia also allows for total sensor control in response to motion and sunlight in a given space. Convia gives users the ability to program lighting moods that optimize energy savings and worker productivity.
